Meus amigos, novamente tive a honra de fazer para a Força Aérea Brasileira o desenho da capa do convite para o dia da aviação de caça brasileira, o mais importante evento de aviação militar do Brasil.

Ten. Cel. Av. Lorenzo.

Meus caros amigos, novamente gostaria de dividir com vocês um novo desenho. Recentemente fiz um desenho para o Comandante do Primeiro Grupo de Aviação de Caça, Ten. Cel. Av. Lorenzo em comemoração de seu aniversário. O Ten. Cel. Lorenzo é um piloto de caça e um grande líder na Força Aérea Brasileira.

No desenho ele aparece voando em um F-5 EM do Primeiro Grupo, o mais importante grupo de combate do Brasil, o qual escreveu seu nome em combate na Segunda Guerra Mundial e hoje mantém a tradição de heróis em sua formação.

My dear friends, once again I’d like to share with you a new drawing. Recently I’ve done a drawing to the First Fighter Group’s Commander Lt. Col. Lorenzo in celebration of his birthday. The Lt. Col. Lorenzo is a fighter pilot and a great leader in the Brazilian Air Force.

In the drawing he shows flying in an F-5 EM from the First Fighter Group, the most important Brazil’s combat group, which wrote its name in combat during the WWII, and today keeps the tradition of heroes in its formation.

Dia da Aviação de Caça.// The Fighter Aviation's Day.

22 de abril, neste dia a aviação de combate do Brasil celebra uma data especial para a Força Aérea Brasileira, o dia da Aviação de Caça.
A aviação de caça é a principal defesa dos céus e o piloto de caça é o guerreiro dentro do azul.
Criei um desenho mostrando a importância do piloto de caça, para a defesa de nossa nação.

April 22, in this day the combat aviation from the Brazil celebrates a special date to Brazilian Air Force, the Fighter Aviation’s day.
The fighter aviation is the main defense of the skies and the fighter pilot is the warrior inside of the blue
I’ve created a drawing showing the importance of the fighter pilot to defense of our nation.

Primeiro Grupo de Aviação de Caça.

No ano passado, eu tive a honra de fazer um desenho para o Primeiro Grupo de Aviação de Caça, o mais importante grupo de aviação de combate do Brasil, em celebração de seu 65º aniversário de criação. O Primeiro Grupo de Aviação de Caça, chamado Senta a Púa lutou na campanha Italiana durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial junto com as forças aliadas.
Em combate os brasileiros mostraram heroísmo e patriotismo até o final da guerra.

Eu estou muito feliz em poder fazer um desenho para esta tão importante instituição das Forças Armadas Brasileiras.

In the last year I have an honor of doing a drawing to the First Group of Fighter Aviation, the most important combat aviation group from the Brazil, in celebration of its 65th anniversary of creation. The First Group of Fighter Aviation called Senta a Púa fought in Italian campaign during the World War II together with the allied forces.
In combat the Brazilians showed heroism and patriotism until the end of the war.

I am very happy in can do a drawing to this so important institution of the Brazilian Armed Forces.

Super Serjão

Serjão e Isabel são grandes amigos. Este desenho fiz para o Aniversário de Sergio, no desenho ele aparece como o superman voando no espaço com sua esposa. O espaço é o melhor lugar para estar sozinho com quem se ama, porque lá existe paz e romantismo. Essa foi a minha idéia.

Serjão and Isabel are my great friends. This drawing I did for Sergio’s birthday, on the drawing he shows like the superman flying at space together with his wife. The space is the best place to be alone with who you love, because there's peace and romanticism. So that was my idea.

All terrain vehicle (ATV)

Trabalho feito para o Safety Center, sobre segurança com Quadriciclos. A idéia mostra em um lado, coisas estúpidas que pessoas fazem com seus quadriciclos e do outro lado a maneira segura de usar quadriciclos. Lt Gary Mizhir

Gary Mizhir is an officer from the US Navy and a great drummer. In the drawing Gary shows working and playing at the same time, the American flag the fleet and his little son, complete my idea to the scene of this artwork.

Esse quadro eu dei de presente para a Organização Odebrecht.
Ele se encontra exposto no Acervo Cultural da Empresa, em Salvador, junto com outros importantes objetos de diversos países.
Divido com vocês a alegria de ver o meu trabalho mais uma vez reconhecido.

Frame that I have given like a gift to the Odebrecht Organization, it is exhibits in the Cultural Accumulation from the Enterprise, in the Salvador city, together with others important things from diverse countries.
I would like to share my happiness of seeing my artwork once again recognized.

Raptors 71

O Esquadrão Sete Um de Helicópteros Navais de Ataque (HMS-71) foi fundado em 4 de outubro de 2007, e rapidamente tornou-se o primeiro esquadrão HMS operacional da Marinha Americana. Os Raptors verdadeiramente personificaram a frase.

“O Primeiro e Melhor”

A criação deste esquadrão significou o começo de um novo capítulo na história militar da USN. Os Raptors receberam o novíssimo e mais tecnologicamente avançado helicóptero no arsenal da Marinha Americana, o MH-60 Romeu. Eles são o primeiro esquadrão a empregar esta plataforma aérea e a desenvolverem um novo grupo de combate.

Sobre a insígnia podemos dizer que foi desenvolvida para caracterizar os homens e mulheres que desejam tornarem-se conhecidos como Raptors.
Os Raptors ou aves de rapina são conhecidas por três características básicas:
Visão Perspicaz, incontestável maestria nos céus e por serem caçadores de proezas insuperáveis. Raptors exibem uma extraordinária variedade de técnicas de caça. Alguns voam alto enquanto vigiam suas presas no solo, outros são conhecidos por suas habilidades em manobras aéreas. E ainda outros, pairam quando caçam e então mergulham subitamente sobre seus alvos.
O nome e a figura de um Raptor representa a habilidade excepcional, e a capacidade letal de combate, que os helicópteros (HMS) trazem para a guerra naval.

De origem naval, o tridente é freqüentemente associado com Poseidon, o Deus do mar na Mitologia Grega. A insígnia combina a excepcional capacidade aérea e eficiência mortal do Raptor com uma implícita capacidade dos mares através do uso do tridente.

O fundo escuro representa capacidade operacional de sua tripulação e da aeronave em todas as condições de tempo, dia e noite. As duas estrelas pequenas na noite honram as gerações de helicópteros multi-missão que apoiaram a sociedade HSL no seu começo, principalmente o SH-2F e o SH-60B.

A terceira estrela significa a atual geração de tripulação e aeronave, as quais trazem a excelência e a letalidade para a nova sociedade HSM.

Raptors

Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron SEVEN ONE (HSM-71) was established on 4 Oct 2007 and is rapidly becoming the Navy's premier operational HSM squadron. The Raptors truly embody the phrase.

“First and Finest”


This establishment signifies the beginning of a new chapter in military history. The Raptors have been given the newest most technologically advanced helicopter in the United States Navy's inventory, the MH-60 Romeo. They are the first squadron to employ this new airframe and begin a new community.

The above insignia was developed to characterize the men and women who will become known as Raptors. Raptors or birds of prey are known by three primary characteristics; keen eyesight, undisputed mastery of the skies and unrivaled hunting prowess. Raptors exhibit an extraordinary variety of hunting techniques. Some raptors soar as they watch for prey on the ground. Others are known for their skillful aerial maneuvering resulting in prey being snatched unaware. And still others, hover when hunting, and then dive steeply down on their targets. The name and image of a Raptor represent the exceptional skill, and lethal combat capabilities the Helicopter Maritime Strike (HSM) community brings to naval warfare. From nautical origins, the trident is often associated with Poseidon, the god of the sea in Greek mythology. The insignia combines the exceptional aerial skills and deadly combat efficiency of the raptor with an implied mastery of the sea through the use of a trident. The black background represents the all weather, day and night capabilities of our aircrew and aircraft. The two stars smaller stars in the night sky honor the generations of multi-mission helicopters that have supported the HSL community since its inception, principally the SH-2F and SH-60B. The third and brightest star signifies the current generation of crew and aircraft, which brings the greatest capability and lethality to the new HSM community. I have done these artworks to Smart Rider Magazine, a Special Supplement to Sea&Shore 2008 a US Navy Safety Center’s publication. The Safety Center is a Navy Institution dedicates in creating the safety rules to the US Navy and applying to civilians too.

I created three drawings, which were published in the Magazine in the pages 11, 33 and 37.

Este é meu novo desenho sobre Aviação Naval Americana e Segurança de vôo. Neste desenho tento mostrar as asas da América abençoando e protegendo a frota americana. Também aponto o futuro sobre as asas do caça F-35, e nas mãos de homens e mulheres que estão fazendo uma nova Marinha todo dia. Trabalho feito para o governo americano, para a marinha daquele país.

This is my new drawing about Naval Aviation and Safety. In this drawing I show the wings of the America blessing and protecting the fleet. I also show the future on the wings of the F-35 fighter, and in the hands of men and women who are making a new Navy everyday.
